Re: The Borderline between Joint Preservation and RSA: Factors Which Help Me Decide
Dear Colleagues:
Enclosed (YouTube | VuMedi) is a link to a presentation I gave as a visiting speaker in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This talk considers the management of the challenging category of patients who have massive, irreparable rotator cuff tears without arthritis. This is the so-called "borderline" between joint preservation and the need for a reverse shoulder replacement. I consider many of the techniques and technologies available to you and try to provide a framework for individualized application to these patients.
The links provided are to VuMedi and YouTube. The former is for all healthcare professionals and those in the business of healthcare and will require registering for a free account on Vumedi. The latter is for all those who are not in the healthcare category and requires no registration.
I hope you find this of interest.
