Why are Values so Important?
Dear CSS Members and Colleagues:
Enclosed is an extensive analysis of why values are so important to an organization. This is sent with the permission of my HBS Classmate, Marcus Bieschke, as he developed this document in the context of a international project we are doing for a Not-For-Profit Organization that has a performance Gap. You can think about this in the broader context of where you work and then ask how you can help your organization with their focus if they have a performance gap. Without a clear understanding of your Values you can’t possibly create a strategy. You can also consider this in the context of your own life and ask how you are strategizing in the context of your own values and potential performance gap.
Best Regards,
