“Gamechangers” Program at McMaster University

Dear Colleagues:

I wanted to share with you my experience as the first invited guest for the “Gamechangers” Program at McMaster University. I am grateful to Dr. Mohit Bhandari, Chair of Orthopedics, for his vision to focus on Innovation and what it can mean to Orthopedic Surgery and Healthcare. I am also appreciative of the time and thoughtful questions offered by Dr. Goran Calic, Chair of Entrepreneurial Leadership in the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. Opportunities like these, to ask questions that lead to more questions and answers that matter, are often outside the routine of what we, as surgeons, do every day. These kinds of interactions should inspire all of us to think more deeply about what innovation and entrepreneurship really are.

McMaster University is a special place as Dr. Bhandari and Colleagues have taken an entrepreneurial approach to education, and innovation. I’d recommend you all follow Dr. Bhandari’s posts, as more interesting ideas and insights will be forthcoming from the “Gamechangers” program.
