Digital technology in shoulder arthroplasty: what do surgeons want? What will industry offer?

Dear Colleagues:

I’d like to share with you a recent publication that considers surgeon’s perspective as well as that of industry, on the value of digital technology for shoulder arthroplasty. Many of you may be thinking of “robotics”; however, this study was done before robotics started to become an option in shoulder surgery. That said, remember that the alphabet represents many of the technologies that are being scaled or have not caught hold. For example, VR, AR, MR, AI, etc. What do you think is the most relevant to the value for your patients?
