Invitation to the Bundled Payment and Care Transformation Summit – Boston, August 18-19

I am sharing an opportunity that I believe is directly relevant to many of us as surgeon leaders. CMS recently announced plans to significantly expand mandatory bundled payment programs, with a proposal that would bring all hospitals into bundles by next fall. The implications for how we practice, get paid, and collaborate with our institutions are significant.

Avant-garde Health will be hosting their Bundled Payment and Care Transformation Summit August 18-19^th in Boston. I will be speaking at the event alongside a senior CMS leader, three Harvard Business School faculty members, and a range of innovative health system executives.

The summit will cover topics with direct relevance to surgical practice, including hospital-physician gainsharing, AI-driven care delivery improvements, and perioperative efficiency and surgical optimization. The event concludes with a Red Sox game at Fenway.
