Leadership vs Title

Dear Colleagues:

Enclosed is a link to a presentation I gave just after the COVID Pandemic. I was invited to give the 13th Annual Thorndike Sports Medicine Lecture at Massachusetts General Hospital, and I chose not to talk about orthopedics or surgery.  

Instead, I chose to talk about Leadership, something which I thought we hear little about as surgeons going about our busy clinical practices working in large medical centers. As I had recently experienced the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School, an executive MBA-equivalent program, I wanted to share some of what I had learned. Below is just a short example of the things I present in the talk.
